We are critical thinkers. Rich is an actuary (a Fellow of the Society of Actuaries, or FSA) and a Chartered Financial Analyst (CFA) – a numbers guy. Laurie is a biologist. In the 1980′s we were high school teachers. Today we are successful independent business owners. We believe in the Constitution. We believe that our country was founded as a Representative Republic based on individual freedoms and rights and natural laws. We are genuinely fearful of the path our federal government has taken, which is not consistent with the principles upon which our country was founded and through which we have risen to great heights. We are the voice of Mr. & Mrs. Right.
Remind me to never argue with an actuary. Well, once again, you’ve proven the fact that you need to be in charge, on a much greater basis. First, why don’t the leaders know this? And second, why don’t they know this? Certainly the system encourages them to not know it so they can increase their states (and their) monies, but it just seems so obvious the way you explain it. This is very frustrating. So why the “new” blog and not put this with the established blog? Looks good, both of you. I’ve passed this on to a number of people.
